Murder Mubarak: Karisma Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, and Pankaj Tripathi collaborate on the new murder mystery series on Netflix

Murder Mubarak, a mystery series that combines comedy, romance, and suspense, will debut on Netflix on March 15. The movie, which was produced and directed by Maddock Films and Homi Adajania, is an adaptation of Anuja Chauhan’s book “Club You To Death.”
As secrets and lies come to the surface, the story turns the spotlight on an array of suspects, portrayed by a promising cast. This includes talents such as Sara Ali Khan, Vijay Varma, Dimple Kapadia, Karisma Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Suhail Nayyar, all of whom skillfully mask their characters’ ulterior motives. Leading the charge is Pankaj Tripathi, playing a non-traditional cop. He steps into their world as an outsider, only to find there is so much more than what meets the eye.
“Murder Mubarak is a cinematic concoction of actors that are loved across genres and generations and believe me, each one of them has done such a fab job in bringing these eccentric characters to life,” said the film’s director, Homi Adajania. This movie has that certain something that makes it easy to watch repeatedly. When you find yourself wondering how you missed all the clues in this whodunit packed with twists and turns, this vibrant murder mystery will entice you to fast-forward and watch it again. And because of our partnership with Netflix, which has a global audience, it’s like holding the world’s most outrageous party to which everyone is invited!
“This is the sixth project that Homi and I are diving into, and I wanted to up the ante by finding a uniquely entertaining narrative, and then this happened,” says Dinesh Vijan, producer of Maddock Films. It was also really amazing for me to see such a diverse group of people bring to life a story that is among the funniest and most unique murder mysteries I have ever read. Together with Mimi, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga, and Dasvi, Maddock has seen shared success on the global Netflix platform, and I have a strong suspicion that Murder Mubarak will have unmatched appeal to all people.
