NEW DELHI: In the Jhajjar district, an unidentified assailant shot and killed Nafe Singh Rathee, the president of the (INLD)Indian National Lok Dal’s Haryana branch.
In Bahadurgarh town, Rathee was attacked by individuals in a car when he was riding in an SUV. After suffering severe injuries, Rathee was taken to a hospital right away.

Leader of the Haryana INLD Abhay Chautala claimed that a party member who was traveling with Rathi also passed away. “Nafe Singh Rathee is no longer with us. Chautala remarked, “He was accompanying one of our party workers, who also passed away.
Opposition parties have responded to the incident, which happened just a few weeks before the Lok Sabha elections, with strong feelings. They have claimed that the BJP-ruled state has collapsed in terms of law and order.
Rathee INLD President was shot and died, along with a party worker who was with him, according to INLD leader Abhay Chautala. Three private shooters who Rathee had employed for security were also hurt. “No police security had been given to him,” said Chautala.
Chautala continued, “A barrage of bullets was sprayed at him.”
“We received information regarding an incident of firing,” Jhajjar SP Arpit Jain stated. Teams from STF and CIA are at work. The defendant will soon be taken into custody.”
